Abstract

Abstrak

Dalam perjalanannya, ratifikasi AoA dapat mengganggu kelangsungan sektor pangan Negara berkembang seperti Indonesia. Liberalisasi yang diberlakukan di dalam AoA lebih banyak menguntungkan negara maju dari pada negara berkembang. Hal itu tampak jelas, dengan munculnya masalah, yaitu para petani belum mampu bersaing dengan hasil pertanian impor yang harganya jauh lebih murah. Lewat metode kualitatif, berdasarkan data sekunder dan kebijakan neo-liberalisme yang dipelopori oleh Reagan dan Margareth Thatcher, pemerintah Indonesia harus berani mengambil sikap tegas, karena pertanian di Indonesia bukan barang dagangan, bukan soal perdagangan dan bukan komoditas ekspor. Oleh sebab itu, pertanian harus tetap di tangan rakyat Indonesia dan dipakai untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pangan nasional, demi kesejahteraan hidup orang banyak.

Abstract

In its journey, AoA ratification become a threat for developing countries in food sustainability, such as Indoensia. Liberations that implies in AoA have given more beneficial for major countries instead developing countries. It was clear, were the problematic raise issues, that local farmers could not competed with imported agriculture products because its cheaper than local. By doing qualitative method, through secondary data and neo-liberalism policy that was promoted by Reagan and Margareth Thatcher, Indonesia have to be brave to makes decision because Indonesia agriculture is not about commodities, trading product nor exported product. Therefore, agriculture should stay in the hand of Indonesia people, used to fulfill national food security, and for Indonesia welfare.
