Synergy of Integrated Payment System In Public Transportation Jaklingko in DKI Jakarta

Abstract

The Government of DKI Jakarta together with the Minister of State-Owned
Enterprises of the Republic of Indonesia and the Minister of Transportation on
July 15, 2020 published a transportation integrated program named Jak Lingko.
Jak Lingko aims to improve the public transportation system in Jakarta. The DKI
Jakarta Transportation In hope, the people will be interested to switch their modes
of transportation to using public transportation considering the efficiency of time,
cost and reduce congestion and reduce air pollution in Jakarta which is horrible.
DKI Jakarta Governor Regulation Number 63 of 2020 concerning Assignments to
Regional Owned Enterprises (BUMD) to organize a Payment Integration System
between Modes of Transportation. In the early stages, integration tariffs apply on
the BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) section.For non-BRT such as Metrotrans, Minitrans
and Mikrotrans with scan-in tickets in the fleet, which are generally located
next to the driver, this cannot be done and is still in the development stage. The
implementation of the Jak Lingko integrated tariff is still experiencing several
problems using the Jaklingko application, including when paying for tickets via
QRIS, poor signal support at MRT stations.
