Tantangan dan Peluang Dakwah Hijau di Era Digital: Studi Kualitatif pada Komunitas Muslim

Abstrak

Green da'wah is an Islamic preaching approach that emphasizes the importance of environmental conservation as part of the khalifah fil-ardh (vicegerency on earth) mandate. Amid the rapid advancement of the digital era, millennial Muslim communities have vast access and potential to convey ecological messages grounded in Islamic values. This study aims to explore the challenges and opportunities of green da'wah within the context of digital media, focusing on millennial Muslim communities. The research adopts a descriptive qualitative method using secondary data, including scholarly articles, NGO reports, digital documentation, and national surveys. The findings reveal that digital media facilitates the dissemination of eco-theological messages, yet faces challenges such as misinformation, limited environmental literacy, and the dominance of consumer-driven content. Conversely, opportunities arise through online community networks, creative social campaigns, and visually driven da'wah. The study recommends a more adaptive, collaborative, and context-sensitive da'wah strategy tailored to the characteristics of digital-native Muslim millennials.

Biografi Penulis

Aris Sarjito, Universitas Pertahanan Republik Indonesia

Associate Professor Dr. Ir. Aris Sarjito, S.T., M.AP., IPU., ACPE., CIQaR., ASEAN Eng., lahir di Klaten pada tanggal 4 Juli 1964, adalah purnawirawan perwira menengah TNI AL dan Dosen Tetap Universitas Pertahanan Republik Indonesia. Pada tahun 2017 memperoleh gelar Doktor Administrasi Publik dari Universitas Brawijaya (UB) Malang. Gelar Magister Administrasi Publik diperoleh dari Universitas Hang Tuah (UHT) Surabaya pada tahun 2012 serta menyelesaikan studi S1 Sarjana Teknik Industri pada tahun 2004 di Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Angkatan Laut (STTAL) Surabaya. Penulis adalah juga alumni Politeknik Ilmu Pelayaran Semarang jurusan Teknika angkatan 19 dan lulus pada 1987. Pendidikan profesi insinyur diperoleh dari Universitas Hasanuddin (UNHAS) Makassar pada tahun 2021. Penulis juga aktif sebagai pengurus organisasi profesi Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia (PII).

Mengajar di Strata-2 Program Studi Manajemen Pertahanan dan Program Doktoral Ilmu Pertahanan. Penulis juga sebagai dosen tidak tetap di Sekolah Staf dan Komando Tentara Nasional Indonesia (Sesko TNI). Sebelumnya, penulis menjabat sebagai Kepala Program Studi S2 Manajemen Pertahanan dan Kepala Program Studi Doktoral Ilmu Pertahanan Konsentrasi Teknologi Pertahanan. Penulis juga aktif melakukan penelitian di bidang kebijakan pertahanan dan masalah national security yang dipublikasikan di jurnal-jurnal nasional maupun internasional.
