Abstract

This study aims to investigate the dynamics of institutional commitment within the Al-Irsyad Women’s organization across Indonesia by analyzing the influence of succession planning (regeneration) and organizational culture. Specifically, the research evaluates how these variables impact organizational performance and their subsequent role in driving the overall development of the organization, both directly and through performance-mediated pathways. Employing a quantitative approach, primary data were gathered from core administrators via structured questionnaires and specialized interviews. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through the Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS 22).

The findings reveal that organizational culture is the most dominant factor significantly influencing both the performance and the strategic development of Al-Irsyad Women. The results suggest that effective cultural alignment and a robust succession framework are pivotal in fostering a high level of institutional commitment, which directly translates into positive organizational growth. Furthermore, this study addresses the methodological challenges encountered during data collection, particularly the technological barriers among respondents in certain regions. To mitigate this, a hybrid data collection strategy involving one-on-one telephonic interviews and digital surveys was employed to ensure data integrity. These insights provide a strategic roadmap for non-profit organizations to enhance institutional longevity through cultural and leadership sustainability.
