Abstrak

This research discusses the coordination process and also the dynamics occuring in coordination in the 2024 PresidentialKGeneral Election (Pilpres). In the development of the arrangement, there has been organized ups and downs, so that the coalition pendulum cannot last long. The organization is also accompanied by a renewal of the position received as a vice presidential candidate (cawapres) from the new partner he joins. The thereshold provisions (presidential threshold) also influence the movement of the pendulum in its formation, from presidential election to presidential elections, and the threshold for presidential and vice presidential nominations changes. The threshold for presidential and vice presidential candidacy was first implemented in the 2024 elections, coinciding with the first time Indonesia held direct presidential elections. Five years before or in the 2009 Presidential Election, the size of the Presidential Threshold was no longer changed until the 2024. Simultaneous General Election, this was followed by changes to the Election Law (UU). At the time, presidential and vice presidential candidates coult be nominated by political parties or combinations of political parties that had at least 25 percent of the seats in the People;s Representative Council (DPR) or 20 percent of the national valid votes in the Legislative Election. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method with an instrumental case study approach to explain the case used, namely the dynamics of the meeting leading up to the 2024 presintial election. This case palys a supportive role, which facilitates understanding of other interests, such as helping to reveal the basis for building interpersonal relationships political parties.
