Abstract

This study aims to map the conceptual structure of feminist scholarship through a visual bibliometric approach. Data were collected from Google Scholar using the Publish or Perish software and analyzed with VOSviewer. A total of 1,000 academic articles published between 2015 and 2025 were analyzed through three types of visualization density, overlay, and network to reveal keyword density, temporal dynamics, and thematic relationships within global feminist discourse. The analysis shows that “second wave feminism”, “radical feminism”, and “popular feminism” remain the foundational pillars of contemporary feminist thought, still strongly influenced by classical ideological frameworks. However, the emergence of newer terms such as “white feminism”, “transnational feminism”, and “methodology” indicates a shift toward a more reflective, intersectional, and globally inclusive discourse. The thematic clusters identified in the network visualization illustrate the complexity of interrelated concepts, including the intersections of feminism with popular media, capitalism, education, and epistemological inquiry. These findings suggest that feminist studies are not only expanding in volume but are also undergoing an epistemological shift toward more transdisciplinary and critical approaches. This study contributes to the intellectual mapping of feminism and opens new avenues for further research that is more contextual, methodological, and data-driven.
